I own one and she is 7 years old. In my opinion these are great dogs but not for a regular house dog. I do not believe that keeping them without working them is good for them or you. They are so active and you will never be able to excercise them enough and if you don't they will destroy your house. Mine is dog friendly but I own 5 other dogs. She does not really play she just wants to hunt. She is very gentle with everyone. Still at her age as soon as I move my hand to get out of bed she literally bounces out of hers and is ready to go. Mother in Law issue - Opinions?

We are having my daughter's first birthday party and my mother in law has chosen to go to a friend's daughter's wedding instead. 2 year puppy still not housebroken?

I have a small shih-tzu. He's a great dog, listens to commands but he's still not housebroken. when he was a puppy he use to pee on newspaper but not any more i have tried to lock him up in his cage for 2 weeks and only take him out to use the bathroom but he didnt catch on to it. i bought the housebroken spray on his wee-wee mat and still he wont pee next to it. when we do take him outside he does his business but yet he hasnt learned to hold on till we get outside. Lab reacted badly with Jack Russel puppy?

I have a five year old female black lab and my brother has a 4 month old Jack Russel. Now, since the puppy was not vaccinated and had a tough time adjusting (he was about 2 months old and raised outside -even in the cold-) we decided to only introduce short 3 minute sessions. Usually, my father or I held back erfly (lab) while someone held Sora (JRT) and let them sniff each other. Now, things were okay (he put his claws on her face and she did nothing. He licked her and my lab did nothing but sniff) but my father put Sora down and erfly growled and tried to bite him (I pulled her back quickly). Sora was slightly shaken, but then immediate went back to normal. erfly is now punished. However, how do I prevent this? I want them to get along and Sora is an inside dog while the other two are in the garage (I just want to be reured that if we have Sora out and if erfly gets loose she doesn't kill him).

Personally, I think your skin looks fine. I was a little lighter too when I was younger, but being in the sun gives me a darker complexion. There are bleaching creams out there, but I've tried them (just to even out my skin tone) and they don't always work. I've decided to stop having for a while. It's been about 4 months, and I've noticed my is almost as tight as it was when I was a virgin. It's hard to use tampons that are needed for my flow. 13 weeks pregnant and worried?

Hi Everyone, I am almost 14 weeks pregnant, the last time I heard my babies heart beat was at 12 1/2 weeks, the last few weeks I have had severe back pain, which I hear is very normal. How long do most people bleed during the first trimester?

I have been bleeding for a week now. I had an ultrasound 5 days ago and the dr. told me everything was OK and not to worry. The heartbeat was at 128. Then the next day the bleeding got heavier (although it was still lighter than a period) and there was some clotting. They are currently testing my hormone levels and I am waiting to go back in a few days to have them retested. Meanwhile the bleeding is back to spotting however there is still some clotting every once and a while. Has anyone ever had this happen to them with positive results? I have to say that much of the killing and terror that he brought on his nation was uncalled for, unjustified, and unprovoked, BUT in at least one case in particular when they attempted to inate him I have to sympathize with him. I would have done the same thing if I were the leader of a nation and my own people attempted to inate me. I would have killed everyone who was involved in the attempt and everyone that I had any idea that might have been involved, even their family and friends to prevent further retaliation and escalation of the situation. He was completely wrong in much of what he did, but you also have to look at the part of the world he was in. In that part of the world, if you show kindness, it's mistaken for weakness. If you don't kill, you'll be killed. In that part of the world you have to show them that you can be as bad as they can, and get ruthless if you have to. Much of what he did was for survival, and intimidation to maintain control/power.

1/2" Hardwood build up to 3/4" step?

I am installing 1/2" hardwood flooring. At the top of the steps, the landing tread is 3/4" thick. In order to "build up" the flooring, I plan on laying 1/4" OSB up to the tread. My partner's last risk was 11 months ago and got tested for HIV and STDs 2 months ago and tested negative, they retested 2 days later and again a month later, which came out negative. We had a few times. The last time I did anything was almost a month from now and I'm scared that I got or have something, although I have never done anything before what I did with my partner. Today I went to the doctor and told her I wanted to get checked for STDs and she gave me a sheet, went to the lab and took a urine test which will check for infections and a regular check. I was wondering if I am at risk for HIV or any STDs and how long will it take to get the results. How do I tell if a new full view gl storm door is warped?

I have installed several full view gl storm doors without any problems, but the one I'm installing right now is not fitting properly. The lower portion of the door (on the side that opens) fits snug, but the top portion (on the side that opens) is out about 3/4 of an inch. I haven't put the closer on yet, but I know that it won't bring it in 3/4 of an inch. I tried putting shims toward the the bottom of the door (on the hinge side), and that brought the top in a little. I also tried shimmimg the side of the door on the opening side (toward the top), but it didn't do much to help. I have eyeballed the door, and used a string to try to see if it is warped, and with these non-professional methods, it doesn't appear to be. Any suggestions?

I have always had trouble falling asleep at night. When i was younger I would try an antihistamine or NyQuil, but those just made me hyper. I've tried hot baths to relax me, lavender oils on my pillow, reading, meditation. nothing worked. The past few years i've been trying sleeping pills. 1st OTC like unisom, which worked for the 1st 3-4 nights, but I developed such a high tolerance for it so quickly that I would have to take about 8 to fall asleep and it gave me some very scary side effects from taking that much. Next I went to the dr. who gave me Lunesta. that didn't work and left such a bad taste in my mouth that I couldn't drink even water the day after without it tasting horrible. Next step was Ambien. It was a wonder drug at first. 10mg and I was out like a light within 15 min or so. after a week of that, my tolerance to that built up and was ending up having to take 50mg to get to sleep within an hour. The only time I can seem to fall asleep at a decent hour is if I drink about a pint of rum, but I can't be doing that forever. I can usually fall asleep pretty easily once it gets to be around 10am. I've even tried staying up for over 24hrs in hopes that once night time comes i'd be so tired that I would fall asleep, but I just end up staying up until it gets light out. My sleeping habits (or lack there of) is making every aspect of my life harder. I can't get a normal job b/c I can't sleep at night, and where I live there are very few overnight positions available. ANY advice on what has helped you or someone you know would be greatly appreciated.

Ok. I'm getting braces in like 3 weeks. I don't get to have the colored kind :( . Anyway, I can choose from the kind that's clear on the top and metal on the bottom, or the all metal ones. What to do when I feel like my mother favors my sister and her children?

I am 29 years of age and have two children; I live an hour from my mother's home; my sister is 28 years of age and has two children of similiar ages in the same town as my mother. I have tried desperately to be apart of my mom/sister's lives but constantly feel like my mother and sister are tons closer. Also I see this with my children's relationship with my mother, she doesn't spend as much time with my children, whereas she spends 4-5 days with my sister's kids, when my children are around her the same time my nieces are around, she tends to share more of her attention with my nieces. Hybrids, in my opinion, are a United States thing since I think they are the no.1 consumer in automobiles so it's like a marketing plo to get people aware of our environment. Hybrid cars is one small solution as I heard they are trying to event cars without gas. My husband throws up all the time?

This started like a year ago. He was laid up on the couch in fetal position for 2 days. I finally got him to let me take him to the er and they said he had diverticleitis, well its gotten alot worse. Im going to make lasagna this week, and I sorta know how I want to do it. But Im not entirely sure. I want to make a lasagna that has the mince simmering for about a day, or a few hours longer than usual. Im thikning of trying it with chicken mince or lamb mince instead of beef mince. Do I have the wrong trumpet embouchure?

I am 17 years old and I play the trumpet. I've been playing since 6th grade and my range is at a F sharp over the staff.. But I doubt that's my range because I can only "hit" the note sometimes and not play the scale up to it feeling comfortable. My embouchure is really weird. I basically keep my lips the way they naturally are.. I have a permanent lip ring on my top lip and when I say permanent I mean it... I had quit playing trumpet from 7th grade to 9th grade and throughout that break I always had that lip ring.. It's EXTREMELY hard to play with little pressure and I struggle with slurring notes or keeping a steady sound. When I hold out a note it starts out okay but after a few seconds my lips just die.. As a trumpet player who's been playing since 6th grade, doesn't this sound off? Shouldnt I be better? Do I need to start over from scratch with another embouchure? I can't thouroughly explain my situation because I am limited to typing it on the internet which is not the same. I would appreciate any sort of advice or bit of intellect from any professional or anybody who knows what they're doing. I am extremely worried because I am about to go to college and be in the Prairie View A&M University Marching Band and I think I need major change.. I really don't know what else to add about my problem but It's really severe. Oh yea another thing I have tried playing a concert F on my trumpet and removing the horn from my lips and I noticed that my lips aren't buzzing.. Room decorating ideas for a 15 year old girl…..?

A medium to dark shade of gray would look nice with the light purple, and if you add some dark purple to your room it would add nice depth and drama. It's also a nice neutral color, and would go well with so many other color schemes you might come up with in the future. Gray is a nice change for a neutral from the usual tans and beiges. Add some yellow in your room for some pop and cheeriness. Since your room is small, keep your window coverings light and airy, just have a blind that you can close for when you need privacy. Try adding a large mirror on the wall directly across from the window to add additional 'natural' lighting, it will also make the room appear bigger. Look for some large pictures to hang with some depth to them, like a field going on forever, a road heading away, a picture with a lot of sky, etc., to give the feeling of roominess. Keep the room in a minimalist fashion, too much clutter will make it feel even smaller. Try hanging a grouping of smaller mirrors together to reflect light and preferably something pretty. For a different headboard, look for old albums in your favorite bands and hang the album covers directly above your bed, edge to edge, the width of your bed, as high as you want for drama and a style that is truly you.
