What are my chances of making it in Hollywood as a writer/actor?

I am recently turned 22 year old (college dropout) (some community college). I think I have a great unique idea for a screenplay. I feel as if I'm in a crossroads in my life. I can either go back to school (finance major) or start writing my screen play and move to Hollywood. I'm really lost. I am not an English major, but I consider myself to be a good writer. I don't know the first thing on how our what it takes to write a screenplay. Also, how hard is it to get your screenplay read or looked at in Hollywood? My greatest fear in life, is not taking the chance at Hollywood and than always regretting it. I feel as though I'm getting to old and have missed my chance. I also live all the way across the country (Virginia) and have no money and still live with my dad.
