Can I sue a contractor??

please do not sign nothing. call another company to inspect what was done, what was suppose to be done, keep oyur pictures, do a log of everytime you were contacted by them and what was said and done and vice versa. All you need is an estimate of what it will cost you to fix the mess. whatever expenses you incurred while in this contract due to this company keep record of whatever money transpired between the two keep record of and if the damages are $5,000 or less go to small claims court and file. if you do this and you can prove your case yourself and it is cheaper to get a lawyer. if it is mnore than you may have to get a lawyer.
