What is this song!??!?

I heard this song the other day on Pandora and cannot remember it now!!! It was sung by a young male, about a couple, basically growing up. It talked about them growing out of religion I think, something about the sea, something about ual stuff in there...I can't remember anything else! I like Jack Johnson, Ben Kweller, Damien Rice...If that helps for finding the artist.
