Can I make rich enterprise GUI applciations with visual c++.net/CLI.?

I want to make rich enterprise GUI apps in visual C++.net but I couldnt find any books on it that were made recently..but i found a visual C++/CLI book for hte .net framework 3.5. SHould I use CLI? Is it good for GUI apps?
