IS THERE ANY DIABETICS OUT THERE THAT AFTER TAKING AN INSULIN INJECTION SEEMS TO NOT WORK?

i'm on the pump but when i was on needles and even now if my sugar is high and i gave myself insulin and it wouldn't go down i would change spots or my site where i take it and give myself Little more and drink alot of water.
