My daughters cold sore might have got infected, what should I do?

my 7 yr old daughter had a cold sore yesterday, which she seems to suffer with alot, but this time it has spread very quickly and her top lip has ballooned there are also yellowing scabs. The doctors are closed until tue cos of the bank hols....is there anything i can do to help her as she is getting upset.
