Leaving my shotgun with oil?

Ok when i go and clean my shotgun 12 gauge by the way if that makes a difference in the answer to this question anyway when i clean my shotgun i do the whole patches throught the barrel and clean the trigger embly and what not but i always lubricate the action well and the trigger embly and all that fun stuff before i put the gun away now my question is do you think its a good idea to leave my gun oiled and what not when in storage and by the way i have a Benelli nova if that helps the qustion?
